Johannes Gutenberg
Spot illustration / portrait of „the first technology geek“ Johannes Gutenberg for an article by Jeff Jarvis. The assignment was to create a sort of pixel portrait of the man who invented letterpress printing in the 15th century. I wondered how I would do it in LineArt and from there transferred it into PixelArt.

Art director: Florin Preußler. Client: WIRED Germany.

Selected for American Illustration 31. Many thanks to the jury and AI.
